In our fist session we discuss and agree boundaries of confidentiality along with many other issues.  The issue of confidentiality is an important one.

As an individual member of the Brisitsh Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and am subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure therein.
